Adult Pirate Costumes - Why They Look Great

The popularity of pirates waxes and wanes, but the scoundrels never completely leave the landscape of American popular culture. The image of the reckless pirate or the bold buccaneer plying the seas and living by his own rules plays to the American psyche in a really fundamental way. The pirate is sort of the dark side of the cowboy. Like the cowboy, the pirate makes his own way through grit and determination.
